A series designed to foster learning, skill–development, and meaningful connections among senior leaders dedicated to advancing equity.

Join us for LEE’s Power Hour: a multi-part series designed to continue to foster learning, skill development, and networking among senior leaders dedicated to advancing equity initiatives.

  • Connect: with a community of fellow experts and senior leaders across the LEE network.
  • Build: knowledge around current challenges and opportunities facing senior leaders today.
  • Discover: how to prioritize your well-being as a senior leader so that you feel ready to stay in the fight for equity.
  • Explore: the future of civic leadership and leave prepared to take your next steps.

On September 4, come join an interactive session by Dr. Michael Johanek, University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education Senior Fellow, on enhancing our in-the-moment daily decision-making. We’ll immerse ourselves collectively in a simulated educational leadership challenge to surface key aspects of our situated judgment capacity, including how we can enhance it within daily practice. In small groups and as a whole group, we’ll identify situated judgment directly from the simulated experience, and then integrate that into findings from research across multiple professions. In closing, we’ll carve out important reflection time with other LEE members regarding where to take this work.
