Join us for a dynamic series of virtual and in-person events that will help you build skills to take action in Connecticut’s legislative session. A coaliton has been built to discuss big education issues in the state, including modernizing the Connecticut teacher certification process.
In virtual sessions, we help everyone develop your own personal narrative in relationship to a legislative issue, work on writing op-eds to submit to local publications, create public testimony, and learn more about digital organizing strategies that can help changes laws and policies.
When we meet in-person, we will practice legislative 1-1, delivering public testimony, and prepare alongside coaltion members that will take part in legislative action at the capital.
You are encouraged to attend the virtual session(s) that interests you most, and we especially hope you join us for the in-person training.
