Join us virtually on Wednesday, June 26th for an exciting evening to connect and learn more about Advisory Neighborhood Commissions (ANCs). With 46 ANCs, and 345 single member districts (DMDs) across the city, there’s an opportunity to create positive change in our nation’s Capital.
Advisory Neighborhood Commissions (ANCs) are a unique local elected governing body in DC with an opportunity for meaningfully impact and influence on a hyper-local level. The ANC’s main job is to be their neighborhood’s official voice in advising the District government (and Federal agencies) on matters that affect their neighborhoods – from zoning, streets, recreation, education, social services, sanitation, planning, safety, budget, and health services.
