Host a LEE Fellow

Cultivate the next generation of equity-minded leaders.

LEE has spent over 10 years building and supporting a diverse network of visionary and highly effective policy and advocacy leaders dedicated to ending the injustice of inequity. As a fellowship host, you will have access to exceptional local and national talent that will increase your capacity to achieve transformational change for students in your community.

Host Contributions

  • A substantive project (or projects) related to policy or advocacy (e.g., research, writing, analysis, coalition building).
  • A full-time workload (40 hours per week) for the fellow with a dedicated manager with the capacity to conduct at least week check-ins with their fellow.
  • Designated on-site workspace or technology needed to work remotely
  • A fellow fee

LEE Support

  • We provide fellows with a team of coaches who are familiar with a range of policy & advocacy settings, including virtual workplace, to offer fellows guidance.
  • Fellows have access to an existing & growing virtual library of learning resources on key areas including research, writing, and project management.
  • Wisdom and mentorship through the LEE network of hundreds of policy & advocacy fellows and alumni.

Our LEE fellows have brought professionalism, analytical capacity, and political acumen to their work, ensuring that their projects are both rooted in best practices and practically feasible in an environment of resource constraints.
