The need for individuals like you at the decision-making tables is urgent. We cannot wait for change to happen and we need leaders now whose perspectives and voices reflect the lived experiences of their constituents.

So, join together with other members at Ready to Run – a highly selective workshop exclusively for members who are actively pursuing elected office in the next one to two years, and identify with a community that has historically been underrepresented in political leadership (specifically women, people of color and LGBTQIA+ candidates). We’ll offer you an advanced bootcamp to run for office, a community of support, and the space to explore how to run a campaign that aligns with your values.

Workshop Outcomes

  • Prepare for the launch of your future campaign
  • Explore the unique opportunities and challenges faced by first-time candidates, candidates of color, women, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community
  • Build connections with diverse leaders from across the country who are committed to educational equity
