Houston, TX is the largest city in the state of Texas and fourth largest in the United States. The district serves over 189,000 students. The “Bayou City” is known as a hub committed to equity and innovation due to its diversity, vast economy, and several notable institutions such as the Texas Medical Center and NASA’s Johnson Space Center. In this region, we are committed to working with our members and partners to increase equity by advocating with the people who work and live here. Through skill-building opportunities, networking events, and leadership development support, we guide you towards achieving the impact you want to make in Houston through your work in policy, advocacy, community organizing, or as an elected leader.

Natalià is the Director of Regional Impact for Houston. She has been an active LEE member, participating in programs across all pathways while building her own senior-level career within Texas school systems. She is also one of the founding members of ONE Houston, the organizing alliance that advocates for change and gets results at the local, state, and federal level. Natalià aims to use her local connections and experience to help you advance your leadership journey and serve in policy, advocacy, organizing, and elected leadership roles in Houston!
David is the Associate of Organizing Strategy for Houston. Originally from Miami, FL, David moved to Houston in 2015 to teach English at YES Prep Northbrook Middle School as a TFA corps member. Since then, he’s taught at the middle and high school levels and served as a campus administrator in his placement community. As a member of ONE Houston, he co-led the Immigrant, Refugee, and Undocumented Student Support Issue Action Team. David has run multiple campaigns for school board and is passionate about the power for organized people to affect change for our Houston kids and families.
