Maryland Civic Engagement Summit Award Nominations

Do you know an LEE member or member led organization that is working towards equity and making a difference in the community? So many of our members are deserving of recognition and we’d like you to nominate the leaders that inspire you. At the Maryland Civic Engagement Summit this Fall, we’ll honor the efforts of leaders in our network through two awards:

The Omari Todd North Star Award:

Omari Todd was a transformational leader in Baltimore who was morally charged to agitate, teach, lead toward educational equity for all children and inspire others to do the same. This award will recognize an outstanding leader in the LEE network who similarly serves as a guiding star in how we can all orient our collective fight for equity and a better world.

The Constellation Award:

This award will recognize the achievements of a group or organization of LEE members imagining an equitable and better future, actively working towards it, leading through impact and bringing others together to do the same.
