Types of Fellowships

Policy & Advocacy Summer Fellowship

  • Full-time placement for 8 weeks during the summer (June – August)
  • Fellows are early career LEE members who want to transition to a full-time career in policy or advocacy in the next 1-2 years
  • Cost to host: Up to $5,000 per fellow

Public Policy Fellowship

  • Full-time placement for 9 months (September – May)
  • Fellows are mid-level LEE members with previous policy and/or advocacy experience, such as an entry-level role or policy-related graduate program.
  • Cost to host: Up to $64,000 per fellow

Policy Advisor Fellowship

We’re looking for mission-aligned organizations to host a LEE Policy Advisor Fellow this fall. Support a rising leader from the LEE network and gain additional capacity on a project that matters to your mission.

What hosts receive:

  • A low-lift, high-impact partnership with LEE
  • A dedicated part-time fellow (10 hrs per week) 
  • Structured support from our team throughout the fellowship
  • All fellows receive a LEE-issued stipend of $1,000.00 
  • Fully virtual experience
