Why I’m a LEE Ambassador

As a proud alum, I am excited about the opportunity to serve as an Alumni Ambassador this year. As I was an Alumni Ambassador last year, I bring prior knowledge and experience. Similarly, becoming an Outreach and Engagement Captain this summer allowed me to strengthen my outreach and communication skills. Having the role, I had to recruit and sign up at least 8 alumni for an exciting LEE event. Doing this not only did I meet the goal, but I was able to strengthen my knowledge and experience more of LEE’s goal and mission. Now having gained experience and being more informed of LEE’s goal, I am eager to spread how signing up could open Alumni to the many events and opportunities LEE has to offer. Things along the lines in helping Alumni grow their networks, skills, empowers them to become leaders in their communities, and much more with more of my personal familiarity. So, by serving in roles like this, it allowed me lead through actions and build stronger alumni connections, and I would love to continue contributing. Overall, with my past and current experience, dedication, and enthusiasm I believe this makes me a strong candidate to support and expand the alumni network again this year.
