Why I’m a LEE Ambassador

I am eager to serve as an Alumni Ambassador because my journey with KIPP has been transformative, instilling in me a strong commitment to the school’s mission. As a senior majoring in Information Technology at Livingstone College, my self-determination has been one of my greatest strengths, enabling me to navigate challenges and succeed academically.

The grit I developed at KIPP has been essential in my college pursuit. I faced obstacles, but with relentless focus and perseverance, I have not only overcome them but thrived. My determination ensures that I approach every task with dedication and a proactive mindset, whether in leadership roles as a Resident Assistant, Track Manager, or Bowling Manager. These experiences have equipped me with the skills to mentor and support my peers, fostering a sense of community.

As an Alumni Ambassador, I will apply the same grit and self-determination that guided me through my academic journey. I am committed to promoting KIPP’s values and advocating for resources that can help fellow scholars achieve their goals. It would be an honor to inspire and support others, just as KIPP has done for me, and to contribute positively to our alumni community.
