Why I’m a LEE Ambassador

I am interested in serving as an Alumni Ambassador to help spread awareness of the valuable resources Leadership for Educational Equity offers. This opportunity could greatly impact alumni, especially first-generation college students and those unsure of how to connect with others for opportunities. Leadership skills are essential for success in navigating an unjust society, making access to courses, coaching, events, and workshops incredibly important.

I have developed strong leadership skills through my involvement in the Student Leadership Congress and as a leader of two affinity spaces. Beyond my contributions to my high school, my leadership extends further, I was selected as a Posse Scholar, earning a prestigious four-year full-tuition leadership scholarship to Tulane University.

With my leadership experience and passion for creating positive change, I would be honored to serve as an Alumni Ambassador. Every student seeking guidance in leadership should have access to the right opportunities. Using one’s voice is one of the most powerful tools for change, and through this role, I hope to help more individuals find and amplify theirs.
