Why I’m a LEE Ambassador
I am excited about the opportunity to serve as an Alumni Ambassador for Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE) because I am passionate about educational equity and empowering others to create lasting change in their communities. My experiences in both academic and extracurricular settings have given me the skills to engage with diverse groups, communicate effectively, and drive meaningful outcomes. As a mentor for the Boys & Girls Club and through my work with the RCVCOBE Mentor Collective, I have supported individuals in overcoming academic challenges, which has strengthened my ability to connect with others and provide guidance.
Additionally, my background in administration and leadership—particularly in managing teams and organizing tasks—has helped me develop strong organizational and communication skills. I believe these qualities will enable me to effectively reach out to and engage alumni in the registration process, ensuring they understand the value of LEE’s programs. I am also eager to use my creative problem-solving skills to implement outreach strategies that resonate with alumni and encourage their involvement.
Being bilingual in English and Spanish further enhances my ability to connect with a broad range of alumni and make the program more inclusive. I am committed to fostering leadership development and am eager to contribute to LEE’s mission by supporting alumni in their journey toward civic engagement.
