Why I’m a LEE Ambassador

I am deeply passionate about promoting equity and empowering others through education and civic engagement. As a future Kinesiology graduate with leadership experience, including serving as a Team Leader for the Black Cultural Programming Committee, I have developed strong skills in outreach, organization, and advocacy. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to fostering inclusive spaces and ensuring individuals from diverse backgrounds have access to resources that support their personal and professional growth.

As an Alumni Ambassador for Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE), I am eager to connect fellow alumni with the valuable civic leadership opportunities and resources LEE offers. My background in coaching youth sports teams and volunteering with community organizations like Emerald Youth Academy has strengthened my ability to engage with others, build meaningful relationships, and motivate them to pursue impactful opportunities.

Balancing academics and extracurricular activities while maintaining a high GPA demonstrates my ability to manage responsibilities effectively. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to LEE’s mission by helping alumni unlock their leadership potential and drive positive change in their communities. My passion for equity, leadership skills, and dedication to service align with LEE’s goals and the role of an Alumni Ambassador.
