Why I’m a LEE Ambassador
As a first-generation student from Newark, I understand how valuable mentorship and representation are for young people seeking to navigate their academic and professional futures. The guidance I received in high school gave me the foundation to thrive at Morehouse College, where I have been shaped by rigorous academics and a deep commitment to leadership and service.
At Morehouse, I have been actively involved in student initiatives that reflect my commitment to education equity, civic engagement, and professional growth. I currently serve as Chief of Staff for Morehouse First-Gen Forward, where I help coordinate programs and resources to empower first-generation students as they transition into college life. In addition, I am President of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, where I lead a chapter dedicated to preparing students for legal careers through mentorship, professional development, and community service. I have also taken on roles in student government initiatives and campus advocacy projects, including organizing dialogues around access to education and supporting leadership development workshops. These opportunities have strengthened my ability to collaborate, lead with purpose, and uplift underrepresented communities.
