Why I’m a LEE Ambassador

I want to serve as an Alumni Ambassador because over the last few years, I’ve focused on bringing people into communities and giving them a reason to stay. As founder and project manager of GirlsBuild, a club dedicated to STEM careers and mental health resources, I managed a $2,000 budget, ran onboarding, and grew our membership to over 160 students through social media outreach. When I transferred high schools, I jumped right into student leadership as Vice President of Interact Club, where I led outreach for 70 members and organized volunteer events that got students excited about community service. Outside of school, my work as a Teacher’s Assistant and volunteer at St. Francis Center allowed me to connect with people from all walks of life while serving meals and packing grocery boxes. Combined with my practical design and editing skills in Photoshop and InDesign, I’m eager to help turn our alumni network into an active, welcoming space where everyone feels connected.
